Mesotherapy (Skin)

What is needle-free mesotherapy?

Mesolift is a new innovative and safe way to treat and slow the natural ageing process. As we age, our skin loses vital nutrients as a result of sun exposure, hormonal changes, poor diet and poor circulation.

Mesolift is designed specifically to ‘rescue’ your skin. Thoroughly rejuvenating tired skin, it replenishes essential nutrients and smoothes away worn, stressed and sun-damaged skin. Its unique formula also means that long-term sustained use enhances its revitalizing effects. Mesolift contains of all the essential vitamins required for a natural biological balance of skin and allows true restructuring of the skin tissue.

How does Mesolift work?

Improving the quality and tone of skin on the face, chin and neck is the objective of Mesolift. As we age, the accumulation of fat, loss of skin elasticity, and effects of free radical damage show up as wrinkling and sagging. Mesolift provides support and essential elements for normal skin turn over and repair. It also stimulates collagen production, inhibits melanin, and promotes microcirculation. The antioxidant properties within also protect from free radical damage. The result? Skin becomes radiant and glowing, with improved tone and elasticity, leaving you looking younger, rested and totally revitalized.

What does Mesolift contain?

Vitamins:

  • Vitamin A acts on the flexibility of the skin by regulating the growth of new skin cells. By acting on the keratinisation process, it corrects the thinning of the derma due to skin ageing.
  • Vitamin E is an anti-oxidant due to its major anti free-radical properties. It maintains the natural integrity of tissue by preventing the formation of toxic peroxides.
  • Vitamin C helps stimulate the synthesis of collagen, lost though ageing and inhibits the synthesis of melanin, which cause age spots.
  • Vitamin B is indispensable for good biological balance of the skin.
  • Vitamin K plays a major role in the regulation of the micro-circulation.

Essential Amnio Acids and Minerals:

  • These natural water-soluble elements provide the basis for a healthy skin architecture.

Hyaluronic Acid:

  • Another important ingredient of Mesolift is hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a “hydrophilic” (“water loving”) linear polysaccharide (natural sugar) that plays an essential role in tissue hydration and lubrication. Used in mesolift it results in increased smoothness, softening, and decreased wrinkles.

How is it given?

A small amount of local anaesthetic cream is applied to the face 20-30 minutes prior to treatment. Mesolift is then injected into the upper layer of the skin using a very fine micro-needle, resulting in a quick, pain-free procedure.

Mesolift is usually administered over a period of time to gain the maximum anti-ageing effect. For example it is given 3 times; once a month for 3 months. This is because the effects of the treatment are cumulative, and enhances the stimulation of your bodies own collagen and elastin over this time period.

Does it hurt?

With the administration of a local anaesthetic to the areas to be treated, you will experience very minimal discomfort. Most individuals find it a very quick and painless treatment.

How much does Meso Glow cost?

It is tough to quote a treatment that is as invidual as each of our clients. A treatment area is defined as either the eyes, mouth, full face, neck, décolleté, hands, etc. Small areas with only a few injection points are priced accordingly. At Pure Laser our consultations are always complimentary so make an appointment today and find out the possiblities available to make you look and feel your best!

How many treatments are required?

Generally, for the rejuvenation of your skin, the average patient requires six treatments. However, if your lines are very deep, additional treatments may be needed. After each treatment, you will notice continued improvement in your wrinkles and the quality of your skin. Your skin feels tighter, more hydrated and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines start to fade quickly.

What are the side effects?

Side effects are generally limited to bruising and swelling. The bruises usually fade within one week. Pure Laser offers products that can dissipate bruises in a shorter time frame if that is a concern to you.

It is at your discretion if you should go back to work that day. You must avoid heat for eight hours after a treatment as it tends to cause a throbbing sensation to the treated area.

Meso Glow reduce fat, tighten loose skin.

Aging, sagging and wrinkling of the skin occurs from accumulation of fat, loss of skin elasticity and excessive free radical damage. Using antioxidants and amino acids:

Meso Glow can: remove fat from under the neck

Meso Glow can: remove free radical damage

Meso Glow can: tighten loose skin and soften nasal labial folds (the groove that runs from the nose to the corner of the mouth).

Meso Glow can: remove fine lines around eyes and lip

Meso Glow consists of a series of micro injections put mid-way down into the skin. Not deep enough to draw blood, but enough get nourishment to the skin. A series of droplets are put into and on top of the skin to start the rejuvenation process. Meso Glow can be used to cover the entire skin surface and in areas where injections are not possible such as the upper and lower eyelids.

Meso Glow compliments dermal fillers in these areas. The effects rejuvenate the face, eyelids and neck without the unnatural appearance and without painful recovery of surgical face lifting. This is a wonderful treatment for fine lines around eyes and lips.

Meso Glow treatments are usually spaced two weeks apart for up to six months for optimal results – which is to eradicate wrinkles altogether. The results last anywhere from six months to two years or even longer.
